A moderate walk with some uneven terrain and steep hills/slopes.
A long and largely level gated riverside walk with one uphill section of road-walking and a gentle slope back down. One stile to be negotiated at the start of the walk which can be avoided by detouring to the next footpath down the pavement to the left. A second shorter route (2 ¼ miles) is described below the main route.
Scenic walk on quiet country lanes, common land, farmland and woodland, linking up with the Glyndwr’s Way National Trail for a length.
This is a six miles linear walk along pleasant country lanes, making use of a local bus service to get to the starting point. Suitable for everyone, with only one short hill at the start of the walk. No special footwear required, just comfortable. Bus timetables are subject to change please check when planning the walk.
